This Is Cool: Security Doors to Be Installed in 7 South Effingham, Georgia Schools

South Effingham Cheerleaders At Board Meeting

There will be new security doors that will be installed in 7 Georgia elementary schools. Via SavannahNow:

The Effingham County Board of Education agreed unanimously to spend $127,300 to install security doors at seven elementary schools.

South Effingham Elementary School already has the electronic security doors, which are left open in the morning when students arrive but are locked during the day. Someone in the office can unlock the doors to let people in and staff members swipe a card to enter.

Pope Construction of Statesboro will oversee installation of the doors at Guyton, Sandhill, Ebenezer, Blandford, Marlow, Springfield and Rincon elementary schools.

It’s nice to see things like this. Check out more on the story here.
